Thanksgiving

This was our first Thanksgiving without family nearby, but we had a nice day. It was a chilly, sunny, windy day and we bundled up, stopped at Starbucks and got our regular grande cap, tall chai tea latte and kids hot chocolate, and tried to fly a kite by the river. It was a wedding gift we'd received, but it was a trick kite and proved a bit too advanced for our novice kite-flying skills. We were invited over to the family of our friends, Megan & Hunter for the Thanksgiving meal. We were so welcomed and had a wonderful time. Simon loved exploring the woods out back with his friends, Lawler and Brackett, while Wesley and Wyllys snoozed
