Adjusting

Life is good. So far Wesley is a very chill little guy. He sleeps well, eats well, and is only awake about 2-3 hours a day...I drift between being worried that he sleeps too much, feeling guilty that he's such a good baby (so far at least) and just being thankful that I'm getting sleep. Simon is doing well, especially now that we are back into our normal routine and have returned to good health after flu, cough/cold, strep throat and ear infections...besides the minor display of frustration: drill bit designs etched into the side of our black subaru...

Halloween!!

Both my parents were in town for the beautiful, warm, spooky weekend. We had a little carnival at Simon's school and then we headed to some friends' neighborhood and trick-or-treated, ate good food and wine and had good conversation. How much fun it is to have two little cuties.

Welcome little Wesley William Cooper

Little Wesley arrived on October 22, 2009 weighing in at 7 pounds 14 ounces and 19 inches long. He has lots of dark brown hair and is so precious. Once we knew he was Wesley, he was Wesley and the rest is history!

It is a very surreal feeling knowing when a baby is coming; it is definitely convenient since we are so far from family and need help with Simon while in the hospital and because he has the flu, however, there's just something weird about it that doesn't feel quite right. Anyway, I am SO EXCITED and CURIOUS to see who this little baby is that is joining our family. That is also mixed with a slight sadness about not being pregnant anymore...I so enjoy the anticipation of pregnancy and I have been blessed with wonderful pregnancies. So here goes...
